A high-performance, handheld refractometer to measure the concentration of liquids. Examples include the immunoglobulin concentration of colostrum, protein concentration in blood serum and the density of urine. This refractometer has a large, easy-to-read scale and depth-of-field for quick and accurate measurements.

Clean after each use with distilled water and Kim Wipes or Olympus Lens Paper.
Before each use, test with distilled water to ensure the refractometer is properly calibrated. Place 1 to 3 drops of sample (depending on sample type) onto the sample window. Flip down the cover and tap lightly to disperse the sample evenly. Hold refractometer horizontally to read.
