Speedrite Ground Rod is a necessary staple in your electric fence system. 6 feet by 1/2-inch, galvanized steel ground rod with tapered end. The grounding system works by completing a full circuit. The current leaves the energizer and moves along the fence wires through the animal, into the soil and back to the energizer via the ground system.

Choose the right system for your situation: the all-live, hot/ground, bentonite salt ground or bi-polar. Next, select the site for your ground system. Then insert the ground rods accordingly and test your ground system.
