Provide fresh, clean water to your pet at all times. When feeding a new food for the first time, mix increasing amounts of pet’s new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period.
Many factors including age, breed, activity level and individual metabolism contribute to the need for adjusting portion sizes. 2 to 4 times more food may be required for puppies, gestating dogs and nursing dogs. Spayed or neutered dogs may require up to 25% less food.
