Coburn Express Pistol Grip Dehorner Replacement Burner allows you to easily replace the burner portion of the dehorner without needing to purchase an entirely new dehorner. Fast and easy to replace, so your dehorner can operate like new again.

Easily replace the burner portion of the dehorner yourself!
Replacement burner for the Express Pistol Grip Dehorner only.
It is recommended to give a local analgesic to any animal being dehorned. Restrain the animal and use a halter and lead-rope to steady the calf’s head. Clip the hair around the base of the horn. Allow the dehorner to heat up completely. Use the correct-sized tip so it makes a 1/4-inch ring around the horn. Place the dehorner over the horn and apply even pressure. Let the dehorner sit 10 to 15 seconds. When the dehorner is removed, there should be an even, copper colored circle around the horn. If the circle is not there, replace the dehorner for another 10 seconds. The horn bud can be scooped out or allowed to slough off.
