Epic Calf Defense is a feed supplement for calves to support their immune system, promoting intestinal health during times of stress. Contains dehydrated egg product as the active ingredient. The dehydrated egg protein is derived from hens strategically vaccinated with specific antigens over time. The egg protein is blended with select ingredients, each important in maintaining a healthy gastrointestinal tract of calves with digestive disturbances. Contains probiotics and yeast extract to help re-establish normal gut bacteria and support gastrointestinal health. Epic Calf Defense is designed to be use at first signs of digestive issues or as a preventive prior to predictable issues.

  • Convenient mixing in warm water, electrolytes, milk, milk replacer or colostrum.
  • Sodium acetate allows milk to clot in the abomasum, so the calf can be fed its normal ration of milk.
  • Formulated as treatment and prevention for intestinal issues.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. Any unused product should be stored in the supplied pail with the lid firmly shut.
  • For use in animals only. Keep out of reach of children.
  • If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.
  • This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
  • Active ingredients per 1 scoop (10 g):
    • Coconut derived, 400 mg.
    • Dehydrated egg product, 4100 mg.
  • Inactive ingredients: dextrose, L-glutamine, potassium chloride, silica, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, yeast. Contains probiotics (Lactobacillus acidophilus and Enterococcus faecium).

At first signs of an issue: Administer 1 scoop twice daily. Recommended for 3 to 5 days or as needed. Mix into 2 quarts of milk replacer, colostrum or electrolytes. Administer by nipple bottle or esophageal tube, twice daily.

At times of predictable issues:  Administer 1/2 to 1 scoop twice daily. Recommended for 3 to 5 days. Mix 1/2 to 1 scoop into 2 quarts of milk replacer. Administer by nipple bottle twice daily, starting 36 to 24 hours prior to the time of stress or predictable issue.
