Recommended for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible swine 3 weeks of age or older as an aid in the prevention and control of porcine proliferative enteropathy (Ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis. Protective immunity following vaccination can be more than 7 weeks. A minimum antibiotic-free period of 3 days pre- and post-vaccination is recommended.

Labeled for: swine

Species: pig

  • Easy to use, one-dose oral delivery; puts less stress on pigs.
  • Provides immunity for the entire feeding period.
  • Manages ileitis through immunity instead of continuous antibiotic use.
  • Can be administered simultaneously with Enterisol® SC-54 FF and/or Ingelvac® ERY-ALC.
  • Do not use in pregnant swine or breeding boars.
  • Do not use concurrently with antibiotics, including feed antibiotics.
  • 21-day slaughter withdrawal.
  • For use in swine only.
  • Burn container and all unused contents.
  • Use reconstituted vaccine within 4 hours after mixing.
  • Anaphylactic reactions may occur; administer epinephrine.

Administer orally as a drench or add to drinking water. Do not thaw vaccine until ready to vaccinate. Remove all medication, sanitizers and disinfectants from drinking water, and any medicated feeds, for a minimum of 3 days prior to and following vaccination. Flush watering system with non-chlorinated/non-treated water to eliminate any antibacterial agents.

Drinking water additive:

Conventional drinking system: Thaw vaccine according to direction. Add to clean non-treated water; use the number of doses equal to or more than the number of pigs to vaccinate. Final solution containing vaccine should be consumed within 4 to 6 hours after thawing of vaccine.

Automatic proportioners: Set to deliver 1 oz (30 ml) solution/1 gal of water. See the table on the label to determine how many ounces of stock solution to prepare per the pounds of pigs to be vaccinated.

Oral drenching; single dose as follows:

50 dose/100 ml presentation: One 2-ml dose per pig.
