- Make certain that you tighten the male and female rods securely together.
- These rod ends must be tight against each other to insure a proper fit. If they are not screwed together completely, they may bend.
Screw rods securely together. Make sure the male and female rods are tightly secured to avoid a bending of the pole. Before using the Dr. Frank’s Fetal Extractor, pull the cams toward the jack so the jack will slide easily into the rods.
Place the breech spanner against the cow’s rump, and put the adjustable strap ahead of the pin bones to hold the breech spanner in place. Attach the leg and traction chain to the calf’s legs and to the body of the jack.
