Gallon mix: While stirring, mix 6.25 lbs of milk replacer powder in 110 to 120 °F water and bring final solution to 5 gallons. Feed according to chart below.

Individual calf (large breeds of 120 to 165 lb bodyweight): While stirring, pour milk replacer powder into 110 to 120 °F water and bring to final solution. Mix thoroughly and feed as directed.

Begin feeding a calf starter recommended for full potential feeding at 2 days of age and offer continuously on a free-choice basis.

Wean only if calf is eating at least 1.5 lbs of calf starter for 3 consecutive days.

Continue to feed appropriate full potential calf starter up to 12 weeks of age—no hay fed separately.

Begin feeding a calf grower recommended for full potential feeding at 12 weeks of age at the recommended rate.
