Alta Genetics Calf’s Choice Total Gold for calves can be used as a colostrum supplement or replacer for newborn calves. Ideal for both beef and dairy calves, it provides passive immune transfer necessary for protection against disease. Made from natural bovine colostrum without any added egg or blood serum, this product supplies newborn calves with essential globulin proteins, growth factors and nutrients necessary for growth and survival. Feed to calves as soon after birth as possible. One bag provides 60 grams of IgG for supplementing low quality colostrum. Feed 2 bags for complete colostrum replacement.

  • Made from 100% natural first-day colostrum.
  • Free of blood serum, whey, eggs, vegetable fats or other ingredients not naturally found in colostrum.
  • Nutritionally balanced and complete.
  • Up to 120 g of bovine globulin proteins per dose.
  • Provides an excellent source of IgG (over 85% in the form of IgG1).
  • Ingredients: bovine colostrum.
  • Each bag provides 60 g IgG.
  • Store out of direct sunlight in a dry location at or below 77 °F.
  • Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the package.

Use a whisk or electric mixer to mix the powder into warm water (110 to 120 °F); ratio of 1 bag to 3 cups of water (3/4 qt). Mix until all powder has dispersed and free of clumps. Feed to calf by nipple bottle or esophageal tube as soon as possible after birth.
