Zoetis Bovi-Shield Gold FP 5L5 HB is designed for the use in healthy cows and heifers prior to breeding to prevent calves from being infected by BVD (Types 1 and 2). Prevents abortion caused by IBR; BVD (Type2); testicular infection and disease caused by IBR, BVD (Types 1 and 2 ); PI3; BRSV; and the five common strains of LeptoHelps prevent establishment of Leptospira hardjo in the kidney and shedding in urine for at least 12 months; aids in the prevention of genital tract infection in fetus.

General directions: Vaccination of healthy cattle is recommended. Reconstitute vaccine prior to using. Administer a single 2-ml dose subcutaneously or intramuscularly, 30 days prior to breeding. In accordance with Beef Quality Assurance guidelines, this product should be administered SubQ in the neck region.
Primary vaccination: Administer a single 2-ml dose to all breeding cows and heifers approximately 1 month prior to breeding or being added to the herd, followed by a single dose of Spirovac L5 around 4 to 6 weeks later.
Revaccination: Annual revaccination with a single dose of Bovi-Shield Gold FP 5L5 HB is recommended.
