The BHBCheck Plus Meter allows you to quickly test for ketosis in dairy cattle using a tiny blood sample. This test is a simple, fast and accurate way to check your cows for ketosis. Reads results in 5 seconds; requires only a drop of blood from the cow. The test measures BHB (beta-hydroxybutyrate) concentration in the blood for fast and accurate results of sub-clinical ketosis.

Insert ketone test strip into the meter. Obtain blood sample from the cow. Apply a drop of blood from the syringe to the end of the test strip. Displays results in 5 seconds. A reading of 1.4 mmol/L or higher is considered positive for ketosis.
