This is a refill for the ADAPTIL Diffuser, which uses Dog Appeasing Pheromone (D.A.P.) to provide a calming effect in stressful situations. Great for puppies going to a new home since this pheromone is similar to what the mother produces during lactation. It gives the puppy a sense of well-being and reassurance. Also provides comfort to adult dogs when stressors occur, such as moving, changes in the household, thunderstorms/fireworks, transportation or boarding.
