Easy-to-use pen comes with two tips for preferred application. One tip is fine for marking smaller tags and one tip is broad for larger tags or bolder print. Specially formulated ink resists fading.

To start ink flow, hold pen vertically and pump tip onto scrap paper until fiber tip is saturated. To mark, tags apply slight but constant pressure on tip to keep valve partially open. Write slowly for heavy inking to assure long life of markings. For best results write numbers or letters twice, allowing drying time between each application.
To change tips, use a tissue or rag to protect fingers from ink and pull the tip up and out of the barrel. Press new tip firmly down into barrel.
