Bovi-Bond Adhesive is state-of-the-art, fast-setting adhesive used to glue wood or rubber hoof blocks to bovine hooves. Specially designed mixing tis mix the glue as it dispenses from the dual-chamber cartridge. Bonds quickly and is set in 30 seconds. Economical and produces no odors or fumes for safe use in enclosed areas. Material can be stored warm or cold areas with a one-year shelf life. Reduces wasted product. The 210-ml adhesive is for use with the XL mixing tips. It is designed with a larger dispensing port and holds 30% more product than the previous 160-ml size. Features a locking collar to hold the mixing tip in place and prevent backflow. No cutting tips or clogged ports with the improved 210-ml design.

Trim, rasp, or grind to balance claw, as level as possible. Sand and clean thoroughly. Dry claw with a heat gun. To open the cartridge, cut the tip at the line with sharp nippers. Insert cartridge into dispensing gun, label side up. Before attaching the mixing tip, equalize the cartridge by squeezing out a small amount to ensure both sides are dispensing evenly.
Attach a mixing tip by pressing and twisting clockwise. Heat the block with the heat gun for 10 seconds in cold weather. Rapidly dispense Bovi-Bond directly onto the block in a strip about 3/4 to 1 inch wide. This varies with the shape of the claw. Option: Â Bovi-Bond can be applied on either the block or the hoof.
Immediately press the block gently onto the clean, dry claw and hold for 20 seconds. Don’t express all the glue. Leave about 1/8 inch, or 2 to 3 mm, of material between the block and the claw or hoof for a faster, harder set. When finished, do not release the pressure with the lever on the back of the dispenser. Remove the mixing tip immediately, discard and apply the cap. The pressure can now be released. For additional applications, re-equalize the cartridge and attach a new tip.
