Merck Banamine Transdermal is the first FDA-approved pour-on for pain control in cattle. Features a patented delivery system which goes to work quickly, absorbing into the bloodstream through the skin in 15 minutes. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) cattle product reduces fever in cattle; fever caused by BRD or pain due to foot rot. FDA-approved to control fever in lactating dairy cows due to mastitis. The easy-to-dose topical application reduces handling concerns and stress on the animal. Simple pour-on administration along the animal’s back is then rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream to quickly reduce fever. Helps the animal feel better for quicker recovery and dairy cows return to the milking string faster.
