Sulfadimethoxine 40% Injection is for the treatment of shipping fever complex, calf diphtheria, and foot rot in beef cattle, dairy cattle, and calves. Single dose, antibiotic injection is administered intravenously for rapid absorption. Each ml contains 400-mg sulfadimethoxine. An effective treatment for bovine respiratory disease (brd) caused by shipping fever complex, bacterial pneumonia associated with Pasteurella spp sensitive to sulfadimethoxine, necrotic pododermatitis (foot rot), and calf diphtheria caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum (Spherophorus necrophorus) sensitive to sulfadimethoxine.
