Restrain animal. Although this is a bloodless method, the scrotum should be clean. Make sure that both testicles are in the scrotum, below the clamp of the device, before crushing the spermatic cord (the attachment between each testicle and the body).
Only crush one spermatic cord at one time. When crushing the second spermatic cord, slide the device down; do not allow the opposing mark to meet. Apply pressure and lock device closed for 15 to 20 seconds. The testicles will fall off in about 6 weeks.
