  • Helps improve starter intake and feed-to-gain ratios.
  • Exclusive blend of fat sources deliver a fatty acid profile which is more efficiently utilized by the calf and enhances immune function.
  • Provides properly balanced protein, fat and carbohydrates.
  • Crude protein, no less than 22%; crude fat, no less than 20%.
  • Do not add other sources of lasalocid to this milk replacer solution.
  • Store in cool, dry location. Do not double stack pallets of milk replacer.
  • A withdrawal period has not been established for lasalocid in pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. Do not feed to lactating cows.

Thoroughly mix milk replacer in water and feed immediately. Use only low sodium water (≤50 ppm) for mixing and feeding.

Milk Replacer Powder Water (110 to 120 °F)
Individual Calf 3/4 lb 2 quarts
Large Batch 1-1/2 lb 1 gallon

When preparing large batches (anything other than an individual calf) keep the mixture agitated while dispensing into individual feeding container to prevent any settling (which could result in the feeding of improper levels of lasalocid).

General recommendations:

Feed newborn calves 3 quarts of high quality warm colostrum via nipple bottle within 1 hour of birth and repeat 12 hours later (or) feed 4 quarts of high quality warm colostrum by esophageal feeder within 1 hour of birth and repeat 12 hours later via nipple bottle, as much as they will consume.

For best mixing continuously stir with wire whisk or power mixer while adding powder to 110 to 120 °F water. Use a thermometer to ensure correct water temperature; avoids product separation and scalding. Feed milk replacer at 100 to 105 °F.

Begin feeding milk replacer on day 2 and provide fresh, clean water continuously, along with high quality, palatable calf starter on a free-choice basis.

Observe calves closely during the milk replacer feeding period. Avoid underfeeding, which may result in starvation or overconsumption, which may increase incidence of scours.

Wean only if calf is eating at least 2 lb of starter for 3 consecutive days.
